“As the result of the careful handling I'm certain they received before they became a part of my life, the girls have been a source of great joy and enrichment. I could get into specifics, but for the sake of brevity, they've been so wonderful and every day we grow a little bit closer. Thanks again for helping me find the perfect friends for me!” View All Testimonials >

Sugar Glider Shipping

GSG does not ship our gliders. Despite what you may read on the Internet, shipping gliders is an extremely traumatic experience for a young joey. Think.. They are instantly removed from a place they know and have grown accustomed to, placed in a box, brought to the airport filled with loud noises and sit on the concrete floor until their plane arrives, loaded in, bounced around, pressurized in flight and depressurized on landing, removed into a completely different environment, and somehow end up in a strange foreign place with a different scent, different sounds, and strange people. We have found from people that went through this experience that gliders initially had zero trust in humans and the bonding process took an extensive amount of time before they could gain their gliders trust. It can be done. It is just extraordinarily more difficult than it has to be.

Another thing to consider: Do you really know what you are getting from a glider breeder hundreds, maybe thousands of miles away? Are they licensed? Or do they just say they are. Is their facility clean? Or disgusting. Are their gliders well cared for? Or abused. Do they maintain control and recordkeeping of their breeders? Or have a glider mill and allow inbreeding? The reality is you have zero knowledge about their gliders, their facility, their practices, etc… You act solely on trust. It is human nature. But not everyone can be trusted.

We have had customers travel upwards of 8 hours to pick up their joeys. Our customers come from all the New England states and beyond simply because of our reputation. We have a strong referral base. You know exactly what you are getting with us and guarantee it is worth the trip!
